Directors,

This message contains information regarding two very important topics: Ticket orders and lunch orders. Please be sure you read the information below about each and respond to this message with a "GOT IT" to confirm you received this message. As with all communications, this will also be posted on the Directors Page on the website (www.nhsjazz.com/directors_page.html). Please be sure to refer to this page as well as the FAQ page if you have any general questions about the festival. Of course if you have any specific questions or cannot find an answer to your question please feel free to contact me. As always, email is the best way to reach me as I seldom spend time in the office. Remember to respond with a "Got It" and be sure to read the entire message. TICKETS:

As of this past Thursday (February 11th) the evening concert is sold out. At this time I am putting any ticket requests on a waiting list in the event that any tickets that have been reserved are not used. I bring this to your attention for two reasons. First, I will not be able to accommodate additions to your order. More importantly it is essential that you meet the February 26th deadline for ticket payments. Your payment can be postmarked on the 26th but please understand that the payment must arrive no later than Wednesday, March 3rd. If I do not have your payment by March 3rd your tickets will be released to the general public. Likewise, if you know at this time that you will not use all the tickets you ordered please let me know immediately so I can contact those individuals already on the waiting list.


LUNCH PRE-ORDERS:

Since there are only a couple of fast food chains within a couple of minutes of the school and time will be tight to go off campus if you are planning to have your students hear the Charlotte Jazz Orchestra, we are offering pre-ordered lunches for your students again this year. I think you will find it is food the students will enjoy, as it tastes every bit as good as what they would get off campus and is a reasonably priced. Attached there are two order forms if you would like to pre-order lunch for your students. The student form is for you to copy and have your students check what they want. The second form is for you to record the number of each item you will need and the time you plan to eat. You can then email or fax the form to me. Please be sure to make a copy for your records as well. Please note checks are to me made payable to "Stamm Travel". We do ask that the order be paid for with one payment rather than each student paying individually. There will be a complimentary lunch for directors available as well. For dinner options there are several options listed on the "Restaurant Info" page on the website.
